About the Author

Author | Crystal Therapist | Spiritual Coach

Tehla Jane Bower is a mother of two, writer, spiritual teacher and founder of The Crystal Healing Room in Far North NSW. Her first published work of poetry was at age seventeen, titled ‘Quiet Search’, followed by an early career in communications, community relations, fundraising and submission writing.


She holds an undergraduate Arts degree and a postgraduate Masters (MBA) from the Sydney Business School, shaping her multidimensional approach to work and life. With the onset of motherhood, Tehla was inspired to reconnect with her spiritual purpose and passion for writing, her written works since featured across many esteemed platforms including Australian Yoga Life Magazine, Mamamia and Elephant Journal.


A registered yoga teacher, Tehla facilitates yoga and meditation sessions, workshops and retreats for women and mothers. She is a Certified Crystal Therapist and Energy Guide, offering a gentle fusion of healing and guidance from her home-based sanctuary.


A Mother’s Space: Permission to Pause is a beautiful testament to her authentic voice and dedication to self-discovery. She lives in Pottsville, Australia with her husband and two young girls.
